The Wellington Boot Restaurant is located in the Hotel De Havelet's converted coach house. 

The name "Wellington Boot" is due to local legend which tells of a liaison between Henrietta Le Marchant and the Duke of Wellington, and the Duke arranging for part of the house to be rebuilt before Henrietta is hurriedly married to a Captain de Courncey. The  restaurant has splendid views over Castle Cornet and its neighbouring island’s Herm and Sark
