The Salvation Army Charity Shop has a continually-changing supply of good quality clothing, shoes, toys, bric-a-brac and books is available in the Charity Shop.  The prices are kept affordable and experience has proved that the charity shop is not just a place to buy goods – a listening ear is sometimes all a person needs – and the staff are aware, willing and able to provide this.

The charity shop forms part of the The Guernsey Salvation Army Community Centre which also provides;

Library - The Guille-Alles Library in St Peter Port have set up a branch library in the Community Centre, which is staffed by Salvation Army volunteers and is open on Wednesdays and Fridays 10am-12:30pm.  Books and talking books can be borrowed and exchanged on a regular basis.

Café - The café is open Monday to Saturday each week serving a variety of low-cost meals and snacks.  There is a regular daily menu but specials are also on offer and written on the board.  The café seats about 40 people and is a place to find friendship, companionship and good food in a warm and inviting ambience.  A wide-ranging menu with a choice of dishes is available daily and homemade cakes are produced on the premises most days.

Crafters Hideaway - Tables are available for a small charge on Tuesdays to provide crafters with the opportunity to chat and craft and share ideas.
