On the east side of Herm Island both Shell Beach and Belvoir Bay are home to beach cafés serving fantastic salads, sandwiches, hot chips, hot & cold drinks, milk shakes, cakes and pastries all day – as well as the all-important ice creams. Sit at one of the picnic benches at the café or hire a deckchair and spend the day relaxing on the beach. New for 2021; enjoy an alcoholic beverage whilst enjoying the view at Shell Beach café.  

Stocked full of delicious food and drink, the beach cafés are the perfect place to refuel after a big sandcastle competition. They also sell a small selection of beach toys, sun-cream and a few souvenirs in case you missed the Herm Shop on the other side of the island.
